Dichorisandra reginae (L. Linden & Rodrgas) W. Ludw.

Erect herb to 2.5 m. Leaves to 18 cm in 2 ranks, generally silver-striped or checked, purplish underneath. Flowers violet-blue, white at base; summer to autumn.



D. thyrsiflora J.C. Mikan. from Brazil is an erect herb to 2.5 m, Leaves 20-30 cm, spirally arranged. Flowers deep violet-purple; autumn.
