Fosterella villosula (Harms) L.B.Sm.

Plants to 60 cm or so tall with basal offshoots. Leaves few in a rosette, entire, membranous; sheaths ovate, about 5 cm long. Flowering stem mealy white. Inflorescence open branched 2-3 times, to 25 cm long, more or less cylindrical and with numerous flowers. Flowers nodding, on one side of the stem, on short stalks. Stamens enclosed.
