Rosette small, loose, usually stemless. Leaves 10-12 cm long, 2-4 cm wide, distinctly stalked, spoon-shaped and tending to grow upwards, green or pale brown, mottled and cross-banded on the upper side, the underside heavily white scaled; margins wavy, finely toothed. Inflorescence stalkless, dense; flowers white.
