Alcantarea imperialis (Carr.) Harms

Plant 3-5 m tall in a funnel-like rosette. Leaves with blades to 12 cm wide, sometimes mottled, slightly scaly below. Inflorescence openly bipinnate, narrowly conical. Floral bracts one-sided. Flowers spreading on one side of the stem. Petals white. Fruit capsule narrowly ovoid with a long beak.
