Rhapidophyllum H. Wendl. & Drude

Greek rhapis – needle, phyllon – leaf, in reference to the needle-like leaf tips.

A single-species genus. For description see R. hystrix.

Seeds germinate erratically over 6-24 months. Suckers can be transplanted.
