Solomon's Seal

Clump-forming herb to 90 cm high from a thick rhizome. Stems arching. Leaves numerous, alternate, ovate. Flowers 2-5, drooping, to 2 cm long; summer. Tepals white, green-tipped. Stamen filaments not hairy, possibly minutely warty.

Garden Origin.

A hybrid between P. multiflorum and P. odoratum and generally intermediate between the two parents.
