Maianthemum stellatum (L.) Link

Rhizomatous herb to 60 cm high from a spreading rhizome. Leaves numerous, lanceolate-ovate. Inflorescence a raceme. Flowers numerous, spreading, to 10 mm wide; summer. Tepals white or greenish. Fruit dark blue to dark red. Grown as a garden ornamental or indoor plant in light shade.
