Perennial herb from a tunicate bulb. Leaves 2, linear. Inflorescence to about 20 cm. Flowers 4-10, spreading but not widely open, basally fused, to 1 cm long; spring. Tepals ice-blue with darker stripes. Fruit fleshy. Seeds fleshy, yellow.
