Perennial herb from a shiny tunicate bulb. Leaves oblong, purple spotted, margins slightly wavy. Inflorescence to 30 cm, dark purple-spotted. Flowers numerous, spreading, to 20 mm wide; late summer. Tepals pale green. Ovary purple. [E. punctata L'Hérit.].
