Drimiopsis maculata Lindl.

Perennial evergreen herb from a bulb up to 2 cm wide.- Leaf blade 40-120 mm long, 30-50 mm wide, ovate, ovate-oblong or cordate-oblong, fleshy, apex acute, base cordate, bright green above with dark green blotches, petiole 30-160 mm long. Scape up to 40 cm long. Flowers numerous, nodding, not widely opening, to 4 mm long; spring. Tepals apically incurved, white turning green.

Grown as a tender foliage ornamental in moist shade or in a shade or glasshouse.
