Bulb long-necked. Leaves evergreen, waxy blue, linear to 60 cm or so long. Flower clusters of 5-10 flowers. Individual flower stalks to 1 cm long. Outer spathe bracts 2. Perianth to 10 cm long with slender tube about half the length, fragrant, corona prominent, about two-thirds the length of the perianth, and with triangular teeth and appearing frilled; summer. Free part of filaments about as long as the anther.
