Narcissus cyclamineus DC.

Bulb brown to about 2 cm wide. Leaves 20-30 cm long, about 5 mm wide. Flowers solitary, hanging strongly downwards, the stalk about 2 cm long. Perianth tube 2-3 cm long, the 2 cm lobes characteristically bent back from the corona to conceal the ovary. Corona yellow flaring slightly and with the margin slightly scalloped; early spring.
