Leaves 2-6, to 25 cm or so long and 5-10 mm wide. Flower clusters of 4-10 flowers, each with a stalk 1-3 cm long; summer. Perianth more or less upright, white, about 5 cm long, slightly curved, fragrant. Styles protruding from the tube. Spathes 2, spotted red at first.
