Herb with spherical to ovoid bulbs. Leaves 2-5, linear, channelled, shorter than inflorescence. Inflorescence to 45 cm, spathes 2. Flowers 6-9, 2.5-3 cm wide; spring. Tepals lilac-blue at the apices, white in the centre. Stamens and staminodes yellow.
