Herb with ovoid to spherical bulbs and numerous bulblets. Leaves 2-6, flat, stemsheathing, shorter than inflorescence. Inflorescence 10-70 cm, stem terete to angled, spathe 1, 2-4 lobed, umbel hemispherical. Flowers few-many, bulbils sometimes present, 7-12 mm long, cup- to broadly bell-shaped; summer. Tepals pink. Stamens shorter than tepals.
