Perennial evergreen small-rhizomatous herb with fibrous roots. Leaves numerous, basal, linear. Inflorescence to about 70 cm, rarely branched. Flowers in an umbel of up to 60, erect-spreading; spring.Tepals to 17 mm long, spreading, pink-purple; anthers 3.

W Western Australia.

 

T. dichotomus (Labill.) R. Br. from SW WA is a perennial thick-rhizomatous herb with fibrous roots. Leaves several, basal, broadly linear-tapering, ciliate-margined. Inflorescence to about 60 cm, several times branched. Flowers in umbels of 1-3, erect-spreading; spring. Tepals to 18 mm long, spreading, pink-purple; anthers 3+3, twisted.

T. glaucus Endl. from SW WA is a perennial, evergreen, small-rhizomatous herb with fibrous roots. Leaves numerous, basal, linear, terete, blue-grey basally. Inflorescence to about 20 cm, several times branched. Flowers in umbels of up to 10 flowers, erect-spreading; spring.Tepals to 13 mm long, spreading, pink-purple; anthers 2+1.

T. tuberosus R. Br. from E mainland Australia is a perennial, small-rhizomatous herb with tuberous roots. Leaves several, basal, linear. Inflorescence to about 60 cm, several times branched. Flowers in umbels of 1-8, erect-spreading; spring. Tepals to 19 mm long, spreading, pink-purple; anthers 3+3, twisted.
