Perennial herb with tuberous roots. Leaves several, basal, linear, flat on the ground. Inflorescence to about 20 cm, bracts reduced. Flowers several, solitary per floral bract, erect to spreading; spring. Tepals to 10 mm long, spreading, bright blue, inner 3 slightly broader; anthers yellow.
Southern Australia and Tas.
Grown in full sun to light shade on well drained soils.
