Fruit Salad Plant

Plant to 10 m or more. Leaves orbicular to ovate, cordate, leathery, cut half-way to midrib into many segements or with perforations in 1-4 series on each side of the midrib; sheath soon drying and shed, the joint flat and winged. Spathe cream, to 25 cm long. Spadix to 20 cm long, becoming very warm when receptive to pollen.

Mexico to Panama.
