Rosettes columnar, long-creeping, suckering to form untidy clumps. Leaves incurved, triangular-lanceolate, hard, 3.5-6 cm long, 1.5-2.5 cm wide, green to blue-brown, often with white to green tubercles. Syn. H. chalwinii Marl. & Berg., H. greenii Bak.
