Aloe ciliaris Haw.

Plants with stems up to 5 m long, multi-stemmed, scandent to decumbent. Leaves in a lax rosette, numerous (less than 10 and spread along the stem), narrowlanceolate, 8-15 cm long, 0.9-2.5 cm wide, spreading to recurved, pale green to waxy blue, with a few soft spines near base; margins with soft teeth 0.5-1 mm long, 1-3 mm apart. Inflorescence to 30 cm long, simple; individual flower stalks 4-5 mm long; perianth 28-30 mm long, orange to red.

A sprawling to climbing species well suited to covering banks or a trellis.
