Sparaxis elegans (Sweet) Goldblatt

Stems to 30 cm tall, unbranched. Leaves 8-14 mm wide, tapering. Flowers 2-5, deep salmon-pink to white; spring. Perianth tube 6-8 mm long, purple; segments equal, 18-22 mm long, with a purple zone at the base. Anthers 4 mm long, coiled, dull purple; style erect, yellow.
