Romulea flava var. flava

Basal leaf 1, thread-like, 10-55 cm long, 1-3 mm wide, hairless. Stem with 2-3 leaves. Flowers yellow, star-shaped, 25-40 mm wide on stalks 2-7 cm long; spring. Perianth tube dark veined; segments acute, the outer three with green reverse.
