Leaves 10-20 cm long, 3-7 mm wide, dull green. Stem to 60 cm long. Panicle loose, spathes 8-18 mm long. Flowers 10-17 mm wide, white, on stalks 20-35 mm long; summer. Perianth segments all ovate, blunt, 5-8 mm long. Anthers cream. Capsule brown. Syn. L. micrantha Cunn.
