Dierama pulcherrimum (Hook.f.) Baker

Leaves to 1 m long, 5-10 mm wide. Stems to 1.8 m long. Spathes elliptic, 23-24 mm long. Perianth 35-54 mm long, narrow-campanulate, deep purple; tube 10-15 mm, lobes 23-36 mm; late spring to summer. Anthers 10-11 mm long.

Transkei to E Cape, South Africa.
