Snow Crocus

Leaves 2-3 mm wide, emerging before flowers. Perianth goblet-shaped, blue-mauve to pink; segments subacute, elliptic-lanceolate, outer 3 white on backs; tube 7-15 cm long, white; late winter. Anthers yellow. Style branches 3, orange, forked at tips.

S Hungary, Balkans.
