Vanda tricolor Lindl.

Robust epiphyte. Stem to 1 m long. Leaves strap-shaped, to 45 cm long, to 5 cm wide, leathery, tip notched. Inflorescences to 40 cm long. Flowers 7-10, to 5 cm wide, usually pale yellow with reddish-brown spots, labellum reddish-purple; winter. Sepals and petals obovate, clawed. Labellum midlobe fiddle-shaped, tip notched, 3 ridged at base.

Laos and Indonesia.
