Small terrestrial to 25 cm tall. Leaf terete, to 12 cm long, to 3 mm wide, erect, channelled. Flowers 1?4, to 3.5 cm wide, mostly yellow; spring. Perianth segments ovate. Column lacking an obvious midlobe, side lobes erect, obovate, notched at tip, reddish-brown.
