Sturdy terrestrial or epilith to 100 cm tall. Roots long and tuberous. Leaves few? many, lanceolate to narrow-oblong, to 24 cm long, to 4 cm wide, margins sometimes wavy, light green. Flowers 50?80, to 1.5 cm wide, white to pink with purple spots; autumn. Sepals and petals ovate, petals shorter than sepals. Labellum usually 5-lobed at tip, lobes narrow and pointed, midlobe longest, spur absent.
