Brittle Greenhood

Small terrestrial to 15 cm tall. Basal leaves ovate, to 3 cm long, to 1.5 cm wide, in rosettes on non-flowering plants only. Stem leaves 2?6, small and narrow. Flowers solitary, to 5 cm long, erect to slightly nodding, green and white with reddish-brown suffusions; autumn to winter.dorsal sepal with a short narrow point. Lateral sepals erect, embracing tip of galea, joined in lower third, ending in slender points. Labellum lanceolate, curved, protruding slightly through sinus of lateral sepals.
