Nodding Greenhood

Small terrestrial to 30 cm tall. Leaves ovate to oblong, to 9 cm long, to 2 cm wide, in a basal rosette encircling flower stalk. Flowers solitary, to 3 cm long, nodding, green and white; winter to spring. Dorsal sepal without a slender point. Lateral sepals pointing downwards, embracing tip of galea, joined in lower half, ending in narrow tapering points. Labellum narrow-lanceolate, curved, protruding through sinus of lateral sepals, finely hairy.
