Small terrestrial to 20 cm tall. Leaves ovate to elliptic, to 10 cm long, to 3 cm wide, in a basal rosette encircling flower stalk, also extending up stem. Flowers solitary, to 4 cm long, erect, green and white with reddish-brown suffusions; winter to spring. Dorsal sepal without a slender point. Lateral sepals erect, embracing tip of galea, joined in lower half, ending in narrow tapering points. Labellum oblong, curved, not protruding through sinus of lateral sepals.
