Bearded Greenhood

Slender terrestrial to 35 cm tall. Leaves 8?20, lanceolate, to 3.5 cm long, to 1.5 cm wide, in a basal rosette encircling flower stalk. Flowers solitary, to 3.5 cm long, green and white; spring. Dorsal sepal with a short slender point. Lateral sepals pointing down, narrow at base, joined in basal third, free points slender with tightly inrolled margins. Labellum slender with an apical knob, margins with dense yellow hairs.

SE Australia and New Zealand.
