Pleurothallis phalangifera (Presl) Rchb.f.

Medium sized epiphyte. Stems to 34 cm long. Leaves ovate, to 17 cm long, to 8 cm wide, leathery, green. Inflorescences to 30 cm long, erect. Flowers few to many, to 4 cm long, yellowish-green to purple. Dorsal sepal free. Lateral sepals joined for most of their length. Petals slightly smaller than sepals. Labellum 3-lobed, small, midlobe oblong.
