Liparis latifolia (Blume) Lindl.

Medium sized epiphyte. Pseudobulbs conical, to 8 cm long, compressed, with large reddish-brown sheaths at base. Leaves solitary, lanceolate, to 33 cm long, to 7.5 cm wide, pleated. Flowers many, to 1 cm long, yellow, labellum orange-brown; summer. Sepals oblong, curved backwards. Petals linear, much narrower than sepals. Labellum large, base narrow, tip wide, deeply 2-lobed and curved down, lobes finely toothed.

Malaysia, Philippines and Indonesia.
