Hare Orchid

Small terrestrial to 25 cm tall. Leaves to 4 cm long, to 1.5 cm wide, held at ground level. Flowers to 1.5 cm wide; spring. Labellum hooded over column, pink to red. Lateral sepals forward-pointing, white. Petals erect, pink to red. Labellum white with a reddish margin, calli yellow. Syn. Caladenia menziesii R. Br.

Difficult to grow and flower.

Southern Australia.
