Isochilus linearis (Jacq.) R.Br.

Robust epiphyte, epilith or terrestrial. Stems slender, to 60 cm long. Leaves linear, to 6.5 cm long, to 3 mm wide. Flowers 1-several, to 1 cm long, white, yellow, orange, pink, red or purplish; summer. Sepals narrow-ovate, laterals joined for about half their length. Petals lanceolate, clawed. Labellum linear, clawed.

Mexico to Brazil and the West Indies.
