Ionopsis utricularioides (Sweet) Lindl.

Small epiphyte or rarely terrestrial. Pseudobulbs ellipsoid to conical, to 3 cm long, smooth. Leaves apical, solitary or absent, linear or lanceolate, to 17 cm long, to 2 cm wide. Flowers few?many, to 2 cm wide, white to magenta; winter to spring. Sepals lanceolate, laterals asymmetric. Petals slightly larger than sepals, ovate. Labellum fan-shaped, broadly 2-lobed, margins wavy.
