Grammatophyllum scriptum (L.) Blume

Robust epiphyte or epilith. Pseudobulbs compressed-ovoid, to 25 cm long. Leaves 5?8, elliptic to obovate, to 60 cm long, to 10 cm wide. Flowers 20-90, to 6 cm wide, green to yellow with brown blotches; mostly spring to summer. Sepals and petals lanceolate to obovate, petals slightly smaller. Labellum hairy at base, callus of 3 yellow ridges.
