Geodorum densiflorum (Lam.) Schltr.

Moderately robust terrestrial. Pseudobulbs flattened, to 3 cm long, wholly or partly subterranean. Leaves 3?5, ovate to lanceolate, to 35 cm long, to 8 cm wide. Inflorescences basally erect, to 40 cm long. Flowers 8-20, to 1 cm wide, not opening widely; summer. Sepals and petals similar, lanceolate, concave, white to pink. Labellum pink with reddish or purplish veins. Syn. G. pictum (R. Br.) Lindl., G. neocaledonicum Kraenzl.

New Guinea, Australia and New Caledonia.
