Gastrochilus bellinus (Rchb.f.) Kuntze

Small epiphyte. Stem to 10 cm long. Leaves strap-shaped, to 30 cm long, to 2.5 cm wide, curved, channelled, tip notched. Inflorescences to 3 cm long, stout, erect. Flowers 4-7, to 4 cm wide, yellow with red to brown blotches; winter to spring. Sepals and petals obovate to oblong. Labellum midlobe irregularly fringed, white with reddish spots and some yellow suffusions.Syn. Saccolabium bellinum Rchb. f.

Burma and Thailand.

G. dasypogon (Lindl.) Kuntze from SE Asia and Indonesia is a small epiphyte with short racemes of small, mostly yellow or greenish flowers with reddish spots.
