Dryadella zebrina (Porsch) Luer

Small epiphyte. Stems short, tufted. Leaves linear to narrow-lanceolate, to 5 cm long, to 0.5 cm wide, rigid, dark green with purple markings. Inflorescences to 2 cm long. Flowers 1?few, to 1 cm wide, cream with violet-black to dark grey spots or stripes. Sepals similar, all fused at base, cupped or spreading. Petals small, rhombic. Labellum narrow, off-white. Syn. Masdevallia zebrina Porsch.

D. edwallii (Cogn.) Luer from Brazil is a small epiphyte with short inflorescences, golden-yellow to brownish flowers with blood-red spots or stripes, short tails on the sepals and a relatively broad maroon labellum lamina. Syn. Masdevallia edwallii Cogn.
