Dendrochilum glumaceum Lindl.

Medium sized epiphyte. Pseudobulbs ovoid, to 4 cm long, clustered, with reddish basal bracts when young. Leaves solitary, narrow-elliptic, to 45 cm long, to 4 cm wide. Flowers many, to 2 cm wide, in 2 dense ranks, white to off-white. Sepals lanceolate. Petals smaller. Labellum 3-lobed, side lobes triangular, curved, midlobe ovate to almost round, labellum pale green; spring.

D. filiforme Lindl. is a small epiphyte with paired leaves on small ovoid pseudobulbs and long, very dense, many flowered inflorescences of pale yellow flowers.

D. longifolium Rchb. f. is a medium sized epiphyte with usually solitary leaves on narrow-conical pseudobulbs and long, dense, many flowered inflorescences of usually green to bronze flowers.
