Medium sized epiphyte. Pseudobulbs cylindrical, to 17 cm long, clustered, arching or pendent. Leaves several, oblong, to 7 cm long, to 2 cm wide, fleshy, soon falling. Flowers usually solitary, to 5 cm wide, pink. Sepals ovate. Petals elliptic, wider than sepals. Labellum almost round, funnel shaped at base, margins fringed, throat orange; winter to spring.
