Cyrtostylis reniformis R.Br.

Small Gnat Orchid

Small terrestrial to 25 cm tall. Leaf almost round, to 3 cm long, to 3 cm wide, held on the ground. Flowers 1-8, to 5 mm wide, purplish; winter to spring. Sepals similar in length, dorsal wider than laterals. Petals similar to sepals, spreading. Labellum oblong, pointed at tip. Syn. Acianthus reniformis (R. Br.) Schltr.

C. robusta D.L. Jones & M.A. Clem. is similar to C. reniformis but is a generally larger plant in all its parts.
