Snake Orchid

Robust epiphyte. Stems not differentiated into pseudobulbs, to 35 cm long, showing some monopodial growth. Leaves several, linear, to 60 cm long, to 2 cm wide. Flowers 10-50, to 4 cm wide; spring. Sepals and petals lanceolate to elliptic, similar, usually olive-green. Labellum yellow to green, base with a brown stripe.
