Cattleya labiata Lindl.

Robust epiphyte. Pseudobulbs club-shaped, to 30 cm long, stalked. Leaves solitary, oblong, to 30 cm long, to 8 cm wide. Flowers 2-5, to 17 cm wide, pale pink to mauve with deep purple labellum tip; autumn. Sepals narrow-oblong. Petals ovate or elliptic, much broader than sepals. Labellum obscurely 3-lobed, margins undulate, base tubular, tip notched.
