Cattleya aclandiae Lindl.

Medium sized epiphyte. Pseudobulbs cylindrical, to 12 cm long, jointed. Leaves 2, elliptic, to 10 cm long, to 2.5 cm wide. Flowers 1 or 2, to 11 cm wide; summer to autumn. Sepals and petals similar, oblong to elliptic, spreading, yellowish to brown with purple blotches or spots. Labellum 3-lobed, pink to purplish with darker purple veins, yellow at base of midlobe. Syn. C. acklandiae.
