Medium sized epiphyte. Pseudobulbs to 6 cm long, elongating with age. Leaves straplike, to 20 cm long, to 5 cm wide. Flowers to 2.5 cm wide; most of year. Labellum almost round, yellow streaked with crimson at base. Syn. Epidendrum sanguineum Sw.
