Brassavola nodosa (L.) Lindl.

Medium sized epiphyte or epilith. Stems to 15 cm long, cylindrical. Leaf linear, to 18 cm long, to 3 cm wide, erect to pendent, straight or curved, grooved, tip pointed. Inflorescences to 15 cm long. Flowers 3?5, to 8 cm wide; most of year. Sepals and petals linear, white to greenish. Labellum obscurely 3-lobed, ovate to round, margins entire, tip pointed, white.

Mexico, C and S America.
