Bifrenaria tetragona (Lindl.) Schltr.

Medium sized epiphyte or epilith. Pseudobulbs tetragonal, to 10 cm long. Leaves narrow-elliptic, to 45 cm long, to 10 cm wide. Flowers 3-5, to 6 cm wide; summer. Sepals and petals greenish-yellow with brownish or purplish streaks. Labellum glabrous, mostly white, purplish towards base.
